Philosophy of Care
FTS Care are of the belief that all young people have the fundamental right to be treated as individuals and as a consequence will require a personal programme of support which will act as the channel by which they can aspire towards progression.
These goals are realised within an environment which is safe, stable, encouraging and non-judgemental.
Many young people who have encountered socially exclusive experiences have in fact developed learned strategies, which can be very damaging. FTS Care believe profoundly that every young person has the basic right to access support from qualified support staff in order that they re evaluate their lives in such a way as to ensure that they are able to adopt a more positive approach and in so doing enhance their self esteem and aspirations.
The fundamental intention of FTS Care is that the young person identifies anti social and negative behaviours and by so doing will be encouraged to enhance other ways of positive self expression.
FTS Care offer a quality of life which is as close to the family environment as possible. This is achieved within an environment which is warm, welcoming, domestic and not institutional in nature.
