FTS Care Home in Denny, Elmbank, is designed and decorated in order to encapsulate a sense of homeliness and individual ownership. We do not subscribe to the notion of redefining institutional settings and by definition negative stigma.
Our home is superbly furnished and is regularly maintained. The young people staying here are actively empowered to personalise their own individual living space as well as being encouraged to respect the privacy of others.
Elmbank has ample provision for education and study, relaxation and in home entertainment.
FTS Care work closely in conjunction with partner agencies to ensure that the highest and safest level of support and care is achieved. We are regularly inspected by officials of the Care Commission. Reports are available for inspection upon request.
Elmbank, Denny
Elmbank was set up to offer a safe, comfortable and family related environment where young people may feel free to talk about and address feelings, concerns and emotional issues without being under valued or judged.
The property has been extensively refurbished and modernised for purpose in October/November 2009, and will remain well looked after in respect of modern furnishings and general maintenance.
Residents of Elmbank will have their own room, fully furnished with en suite bathroom facilities to ensure that they have all the amenities they will require as well as allowing for their own private space.
There is also a “quiet room” which is a facility which provides residents with on line access to develop general IT skills and to use internet as a learning and educational tool.
The property is located close to excellent public transport links and within easy walking distance of schools, shops, surgery, as well as cultural and leisure facilities. (Further information on Denny life can be found by follow the links below)
